The history of Pizza Marzano (PizzaExpress, UK) started in 1948 when Peter Boizot OBE, founder of the company, tasted his first pizza in Florence. Then back in London in the 60's he realized that you could not find a real pizza. A pizza must be prepared with authentic Italian ingredients and cooked in a genuine pizza oven. In 1997 PizzaExpress started its international development under the Pizza Marzano brand name. The name Marzano comes from the type of tomatoes used to make the famous tomato sauce for the pizza.

The restaurant interiors have a stylish, contemporary finish with unique artwork which is painted by students from the Institute Technology Bandung (faculty of art) as winners of Pizza Marzano painting competition. The marble tables are arranged for large groups as well as those who may dine alone. The service will be friendly and casual to give a very relaxing experience.

The opening theme” Circle of Desire” was chosen for the first Pizza Marzano. Pizza Marzano will satisfy customers desire of a dining experience with a passion for food, a stylish and intelligent design and an elegant yet relaxed service, in other words, to serve the world with style.
